Sisters. (Oh, and welcome back!)

So it's my turn to post the sister updates for the week. We're trying to start a tradition, you can see the inaugural week here at Rachel's blog. There was some concern as to whether or not I still had a blog so that I could participate in the rotation, and I assured all that I did in fact still have a blog, though I'm sure I have no readers, so this may only be seen by a select few. I've been thinking a lot about this blog, and I want to keep it going, but I need to make some changes to it so that I feel like it's actually representative of me, and not just some front I've thrown up on the internet. So, that being said, I'm not wanting to make some big announcement of my return only to let people down again, but it's possible that I will be slowly adding more to this here blog. Anyway, let's get onto the interesting stuff, shall we?

SARAH

Last week's agenda:
- sent Scott and The Lower Lights off on tour - prepped all the merch - tshirts, patches, buttons, cds, made signs, itineraries, spreadsheets, bought snacks, etc.
- lost my voice
- pulled an all-nighter to finish a work project (actually to start and finish a work project that the group thought I'd started a week ago)
- made it to 6am yoga twice - very sore!
This week's agenda:
- aiming for 3 days of yoga
- make some plans for Scott's bday
- rooftop planning meeting - we'll nail down the lineup and start coordinating with volunteers
- feed the ducks
- maybe buy these shoes with my leftover xmas credit?
- figure out our east-coast trip

ANNEE

Last week's agenda:
- Got my hair repaired!! It was long over due and a lovely day at the salon. And in the end was blessed with two lovely days of salon styled hair. It was heavenly.
- Substitute taught all day Thursday and Friday
- Took Henry to Cirque Eloise at UNC memorial hall. I imagine it was similar to what a Cirque do Soleil performance would be like. It was so excellent that Darin and George went back the very next night.
- I needed to added a bonus forth item, only because I think it’s pretty awesome that so far I had accomplished all that I had stated from last week. Saturday I managed to run a 10-mile long run!! The weather was gorgeous I even got a little bit sunburned on my nose. Which makes me super hopeful that spring is on it’s way! Also hopeful that if you write down things that you want to accomplish, it might actually contribute to your ability to accomplish them. Who would have thought it!
This week's agenda:
- No substitute teaching. It’s Darin’s spring break, so I’m taking the week off too!!
- Have fun hosting Ie Li and kid
s at our house for a few days. Nothing is more happy for me than to be close enough to family that we can have regular visits together. Mi Na is coming to my house!!!
- More sewing. Last week I only managed to make it out to the sewing garage once, maybe twice. I hope Ie Li and I will do a dress sew-along while she is here. I’m looking forward to it.

IE LI

Last week's agenda:
- 2 out of 6 P90X workouts (this is an improvement over the week before)
- kids' swimming lessons and preschool
- hung three wall hooks, two in the entryway for bags and one in my kitchen for aprons
- enjoyed three days of sunshine and warmth
- a carousel ride and cupcakes with Mei Li for Friday's girls' night
- a long overdue date with Steve on Saturday at a nearby Thai restaurant. It was nearly as good as Minh's kitchen in LC.
This week's agenda:
- Monday's P90X workout
- kids' swimming lessons and preschool
- visit Annee in NC and sew something together! (this will take up the majority of the week)

RACHEL

Last week's agenda:
- We saw The Adjustment Bureau. It was interesting. May have been better if we weren't in the front row... Oops.
- I finished Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (SO good, and furthered my fascination with WWI & WWII). I started and almost finished Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers. Annee you're right, that book must be taken in small doses.. weird.
- Ken and I got free tickets to Stars On Ice from one of his co-workers at the courthouse. Floor/ON THE ICE tickets. Crazy, random and awesome.
- Did I mention that I broke
my iPhone screen again? Sad.
This week's agenda:
- Go to the temple on Friday or Saturday.
- Buy tickets for our April trip to Utah. SO excited!
- Make Red Pepper Risotto again per Ken's request. Making dinner is most fun when he asks for something specific.
- Read The Curtain Bible which I received this weekend and make a plan for my kitchen windows.

CHRISTINE

Last week's agenda:
- dinner with Hillary, Beth, and Addie
- worked a shift at Anthropologie (yes, I do in fact still work there, I work so infrequently, though, that I actually enjoy every time I do get to work)
- snowboarding at Park City followed by a visit to the Midway ice castles
This week's agenda:
- take Individual Taxes exam
- grade Jr Core midterms
- check off at least one more item on the Utah Bucket List (the countdown is on until my move away from Utah)
- finally make my return to yoga
- try not to eat out for a full week (starting.... tomorrow?)

That's all! Maybe next time we'll see an appearance from Ana and mom!

PS - I attempted to add in some formatting and styling, but every time I published the post it all disappeared, so I guess I still have some learning to do with this blog.
